PACEPrivacy
PACE is a study timer and planner for Australian senior-secondary students. We collect as little as we can, keep sharing off by default and never sell or advertise with your data.

What we collect and why

We do not ask for your real name, birthday, photo, contacts, location or the list of apps on your phone. App-blocking choices, reminder times and recap images stay on your device. There are no ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics.
How long we keep it
Study sessions and planner tasks with past due dates are deleted after 365 days, challenge records after 365 days, and reports and moderation records after 90 days. Everything else is kept until you delete it or your account. We don't keep separate database backups, so once data is deleted it can't be restored.
Where it is stored
PACE data is hosted by Supabase in Sydney, Australia (AWS ap-southeast-2). Sign-in emails are sent through Resend from noreply@pacestudy.au. These providers process data for us under their own terms and may handle some data outside Australia.
Your choices
- Turn sharing of live status, weekly totals and school boards on or off at any time under You.
- Export your profile, history and plans from You → Your data.
- Delete your account in the app. Your profile, sessions, plans, friendships, squads you own and challenge entries are removed.
- Report or block anyone you can see.
Honest time
Study time is self-reported. Rankings and totals are not evidence of ability or effort, and PACE is not affiliated with any school, NESA, VCAA or QCAA.
Changes and complaints
We will update this page and the effective date if anything changes. If you are not satisfied with our response to a privacy complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
